Cookie Policy — Website & Analytics Cookies
Last updated: July 21, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how XyloDocs ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on xylodocs.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and protect personal information more broadly. By continuing to use our marketing site, you acknowledge that we may store or access cookies as described here, subject to your browser settings and applicable law.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They help sites remember information about your visit—such as language preference, theme choice, or whether you have already interacted with a form—so the experience can work reliably and so operators can understand how the site is used. Related technologies include local storage and session storage in your browser, which we may use for the same kinds of functional and preference purposes.
Why XyloDocs uses cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for three main reasons:
- Essential / functional: Keep core site features working (for example routing through the single-page app, remembering display preferences such as color theme or dark mode, and preserving marketing attribution parameters during a visit so contact and demo requests can be attributed correctly).
- Analytics: Understand which pages are visited, how people navigate the site, and where technical issues occur so we can improve content and performance. We use Google Analytics 4 for aggregated measurement.
- Advertising / measurement: Measure the effectiveness of our ads and campaigns. We use Meta Pixel (Facebook) for conversion and reach measurement related to our advertising.
Categories and examples
Session cookies
Session cookies last only while your browser is open. They are typically deleted when you close the browser and are used for short-lived needs such as keeping a continuous browsing session on the site.
Persistent cookies
Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them. Examples include preference cookies (theme and dark-mode choices stored locally) and third-party analytics or advertising cookies set by Google or Meta according to their own retention policies.
First-party vs. third-party
First-party cookies are set by xylodocs.com (or our own storage keys in the browser). Third-party cookies are set by services we load, including Google Analytics and Meta Pixel. Those providers process data under their own privacy policies; we do not sell cookie data as a product.
How to manage or disable cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, clear site data, or send a "Do Not Track" signal. You can usually find these controls under Settings → Privacy (or similar). Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site (for example saved theme preferences). Blocking analytics or advertising cookies will not prevent you from reading our public pages, but it may reduce how accurately we can measure traffic or ad performance.
For Google Analytics opt-out options, see Google's browser add-on and account ads settings. For Meta ads preferences, use Meta's ad settings tools. Clearing cookies removes existing identifiers; new ones may be set on your next visit unless you continue to block them.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices or third-party tools change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent substantive revision. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy where permitted by law.
