# Pricing — XyloDocs

XyloDocs is an AI client communication platform for tax firms, CPAs, and accountants. Pricing has two layers: (1) the CRM / communication platform (required foundation, available now) and (2) tax software as an optional add-on, launching for the 2027 season. All currency is USD. ## 1. Client Communication Platform (required foundation, available now)

The communication platform is a complete product on its own. A firm can buy it with no tax software required. Usage is billed separately from the platform fee.

### Platform base — $49/month

Includes:
- Full dashboard
- 1 phone number
- Unlimited client accounts — always free
- Document storage
- CRM features
- Contact management

### Team seats

- Additional team seat: $9/month each. All seats share one account and one prepaid balance.

### Metered usage (on top of the platform fee; prepaid balance, $50 minimum)

Usage is deducted from a prepaid balance as you go, at transparent per-unit rates. These rates are separate from the $49/month platform fee:

- SMS outbound (US): $0.03 per message
- SMS inbound (US): $0.02 per message
- WhatsApp outbound: $0.03 per message
- WhatsApp inbound: $0.01 per message
- AI voice call: $0.15 per minute
- Standard call: $0.05 per minute
- Additional phone number: $3 per month
- eSignature: $1 per signature
- Document AI parsing: $0.25 per document

### Onboarding offer

- 100 free e-signatures in a firm's first 12 months. After that, e-signatures are $1 per signature from the prepaid balance.

## 2. Tax Software Add-On (launching for the 2027 season)

- Individual / 1040: $799/season
- Individual + Business: $1,099/season

### Refund mechanic

Pay the season fee up front. The full software fee is refunded at 100 funded refund transfers, so the add-on pays for itself — it nets to zero at 100 transfers.

- The count is funded refund transfers, not returns filed.
- Tax software is not free. If a firm falls short of 100 funded refund transfers, they keep professional tax software at a fair price.

## Example scenarios (illustrative estimates)

- Solo preparer, communication only, light usage: $49 base + ~$45 usage ≈ ~$94/month.
- Growing firm, 3 seats, heavy bilingual communication: $49 base + $18 (2 additional seats) + ~$280 usage ≈ ~$347/month.
